The Hundertwasser House

The Hundertwasser House was designed by the hippy artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, pseudonym of Fritz Stowasser.

One of the city’s most popular tourist attractions, this is a house without straight lines or surfaces, completely assymetrical, with tortuous corridors, rounded-off corners, plants and trees. Hundertwasser, master of unconventional architecture, constructed this complex of 50 apartments in 1982-1985.
