Elisabeth, Empress of Austria, Queen of Hungary was married on 24th April 1854 in the Vienna Augustine Church. The Papparazzi of the day, the court painters and engravers were quickly producing pictures of this beautiful young duchess , known throughout the land by her nickname"Sisi".
